THURSDAY 25 MAY:
Massed Pipe Band Rehearsal – this will take place at St Anns Fort, St Michael. This will be the first opportunity to play alongside the Barbados Defence Force Band. St Anns Fort is well worth the visit.
- Timing: 6:30pm – 7:00pm start. Please note change in timing.
- Aim: general get-together in historic fort, shake-down the tunes on the parade square. Hopefully not too hot in the evening. Army Cadets, interested in finding out more about the pipes and drums are likely to attend.
- Dress-code: kilts and short-sleeve shirts. (Non-players smart casual).
- Location: St Anns Fort, St Michael.
FRIDAY 26 MAY:
Music at Blakeys on the Broadwalk – massed pipe bands will open the event at 5:00pm. Later the event will bring together musical styles from local Bajan SPOUGE Band and Scottish musicians – for a fun Friday night!
- Meeting Point: 5:00pm at Blakeys on the Broadwalk, Hastings.
Dress-code: kilts and short-sleeve shirts. - Aim: pipe band performance at sunset merging into social event, with other festival musicians performing.
SATURDAY 27 MAY:
Bridgetown Parade – the event will start at 10.00am in Bridgetown and will be led by the Royal Barbados Police Band and Barbados Defence Force Band. The meeting point is the Bridgetown Post Office car park at 9:00am. Players to make their own way to Bridgetown.
- Meeting Point: 9.00am General Post Office Building (car park), Bridgetown.
- Dress-code: kilts and short-sleeve shirts.
- Water will be available at the beginning and end of the parade.
- Supporters please bring extra water and help distribute.
- Avoid dehydration drink lots of water.
OPTION 1.
Holetown – after the parade buses will to take players and supporters to Holetown. Sit back at relax at the Discovery Bay Resort. Buffet style fixed cost lunch available: http://rexresorts.com/barbados/discovery-bay/
- Timings from 12:00pm – when buses arrive.
- Please note the lunch is offered by Discovery Bay at a fixed cost.
- Fiddlers: performance at 1:30pm at Limegrove, Holetown.
- Departure time: 3:00pm
OPTION 2.
Remain in Bridgetown there are at least four bars near the end of the parade. The bus pick-up point will be Heroes Square (End of Parade) so will be easy to find.
- Departure time: 3:00pm
Barbados Car Rally – after the parade buses will be laid on to take players and supporters to the opening of the Barbados Car Rally where the pipe bands will play the Scottish teams into the park. Lunch will be served to players at the Rally.
- Aim: play the Scottish teams into the rally at 4:00pm.
- Buses: buses depart for Bridgetown and Holetown around 6:00pm
Evening: Coconut Court Beach Hotel, (Hastings) very informal (casual) get together at the beach bar, if you have not made alternative plans. 8:00pm onwards.
SUNDAY 28 MAY:
Piping Hot – massed pipe band performance from 2:30 at the Pureocean Restaurant (open air and next to the beach) followed by performances by other festival musicians, complimentary Rum Cocktails, finger food and cash bar. The massed pipe band performance will be on the large lawn.
- Aim: social event with performance.
- Dress-code: kilts and short-sleeve shirts.

- Location: Pureocean Restaurant, St Lawrence Gap
