The unveiling ceremony of the D-Day Piper, Bill Millin Statue is scheduled to take place on Saturday 8th June 2013 and will be organised by the D-Day Pipe Bill Millin Association. After the long campaign the statue is in the final stages of completion. Alongside the D-Day Commemorations, pipe bands and individual players are invited to join this event. A full programme of events around the unveiling will take place, so this is a great opportunity for a ‘pipe band’ holiday in Normandy. Registration is now open!

The D-Day Piper Bill Millin Association shall provide a list of events taking place between the 5-8th June. There will be a number of pipe band events along with the unveiling and post-unveiling party. More info will follow.
