Ecosse à Montmartre 2013

Ecosse à Montmartre 2013, will start on Saturday 16th March and run to Sunday 17th. Since 2001, every two years all Scots are welcome to the Butte Montmartre to celebrate the friendship between Scotland and Montmartre on the occasion of the Six Nations rugby match between France and Scotland at the Stade de France.

Montmartre is well known for its painters (Place du Tertre next to sacré Coeur) and night life (famous Moulin Rouge). The atmosphere of the village, is very friendly and with many restaurants and cafe terraces, is the place to be during the weekend of the France -Ecosse rugby match.

Programme ECOSSE à MONTMARTRE 2013:

SATURDAY 16th:

Parade in Montmartre from Sacré Coeur to place Abbesses
Start 11.00 pm until 12.30 place abbesses
Lunch in the church bassment as usual. No fee

SUNDAY 17th:

Whisky degustation in the Commanderie du Clos Montmartre (Fee/Tickets)

How to reach Montmartre:
By subway: Metro line 12 get off station ABBESSES or Line 2 get off station ANVERS. Follow the sign “Funiculaire” to reach the start of the parade on the top of the hill near Sacré Coeur.
